- Educational Qualification:
- Graduation degree with English as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
- Knowledge of Hindi is essential.
- Diploma or Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized institution, with a course duration of at least six months.
- Nationality: A candidate must be:
- A citizen of India.
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1972, to permanently settle in India.
- A person of Indian origin who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African nations of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika) and Zambia with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Character: The character of a candidate must be such as to render suitable in all respects for appointment to the service in the High Court.
- Marital Status: A male candidate who has more than one wife alive or a female candidate who has married a person already having a wife alive shall not be eligible for the recruitment.
- Physical Fitness: No person shall be recruited unless he/she is in good mental and physical health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his/her official duties.
Age Limit-The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit varies by category: - UR & EWS (Male): 37 years
- UR & EWS (Female): 40 years
- BC/EBC: 40 years
