SSC GD Re-Exam: Age Limit, Eligibility

• SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024:
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • You need to have passed 10th grade from a recognized school or board to qualify.
  • Age Limit: Between 18 and 23 years.
    • Age Relaxation:
      • SC/ST: 5 years, maximum age of 28 years.
      • OBC: 3 years, maximum age of 26 years.
      • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years, maximum age of 26 years.
      • Children and dependents of victims of specific riots: Up to 10 years, maximum age of 33 years for SC/ST.
• SSC GD Constable Physical Standard Test:
  • Height Requirements:
    • General, SC, and OBC Categories (Male): 170 cm; (Female): 157 cm.
    • ST Categories (Male): 162.5 cm; (Female): 150 cm.
    • ST Categories with domicile in North-Eastern States (Male): 160 cm; (Female): 147.5 cm.
    • Residents of hilly areas (Male): 165 cm; (Female): 155 cm.
• SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test:
  • Race Requirements:
    • All India Candidates (Male): Run 5 km in 24 minutes; (Female): Run 1.6 km in 8 minutes.
    • Ladakh Region Candidates (Male): Run 1 mile in 6 minutes; (Female): Run 800 meters in 4 minutes.
• SSC GD Constable Medical Round:
  • Visual Acuity Requirements:
    • Near Vision: N6 for better eye, N9 for worse eye.
    • Distant Vision: Better eye should be at least 6/6, worse eye at least 6/9.
