Eligibility Criteria:

• SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board in India with specific subjects.
• MR (Matric Recruit): Candidates must have passed the Class 10 (High School) examination from a recognized board in India.

Physical Eligibility: Agniveer SSR/MR Batch (02/2024)

1. Written Examination: Candidates begin the selection process by taking a computer-based examination, which is a crucial step in evaluating their knowledge and aptitude.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Following the written exam, candidates undergo a Physical Fitness Test to gauge their physical abilities. This test includes activities like running, squat ups, push-ups, and bent knee sit-ups.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates who pass the written exam and PFT proceed to a comprehensive medical examination. This ensures that they meet the medical standards established by the Indian Navy, essential for service at sea.
4. Merit List: A merit list is compiled based on candidates’ performance in the written exam, PFT, and medical examination. This list ranks candidates according to their suitability for the Agniveer (SSR/MR) positions.
5. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are then required to provide and verify their documents to confirm their eligibility for the position. This step ensures that all necessary qualifications and credentials are in order.
6. Final Enrollment: Successful candidates who have completed all stages of the selection process are finally enrolled in the Indian Navy. This marks the culmination of their journey from application to recruitment.
