Age Limit

  • The minimum age limit for NEET UG 2024 is 17 years as of December 31, 2024.

NTA NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Codes

  1. Code 1: Students presently enrolled in Class 12 in 2024, awaiting their results, are eligible to apply for and take the exam. They must pass the qualifying exam with the required percentage at the time of initial counseling to be eligible.
  2. Code 2: Candidates who have completed the higher/senior secondary exam or Indian School Certificate exam equivalent to Class 12 after 12 years of study, with the last two years comprising Physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and mathematics or any other elective subject, accompanied by English, are required subjects.
  3. Code 3: Candidates who have completed the intermediate or pre-degree exam in science from an Indian university/board, with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
  4. Code 4: Candidates who have satisfactorily finished the pre-professional or pre-medical examination, encompassing physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English, inclusive of practical assessments, are deemed eligible.
  5. Code 5: Candidates who have completed the first year of a three-year degree course from a recognized university with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology (including practicals), provided they passed the earlier qualifying exam with English.
  6. Code 6: Candidates who have completed their BSc examination from an Indian University with a minimum of two subjects among physics, chemistry, biology (botany, zoology), or biotechnology, and have cleared the earlier qualifying examination with these subjects along with English, are eligible.
  7. Code 7: Candidates who have completed any other exam deemed equivalent to the intermediate science exam of an Indian university/board, with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology (including practicals), and English.
